A pay-what-you’re-able retreat for high school students and their leaders, centered on worship, leadership development, and small group discussion while learning about PC(USA)’s Matthew 25 vision.
The staff at Massanetta extend their warmest wishes for all to have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
This retreat focuses on broader questions of why we join the Church, what we want our churches to be like, and how we can actively engage in that work. Participants will join mixed small groups to hear ideas from people from different congregations, and also have time with their home group to continue with their own lessons and curricula.
Join us for a weekend-long handbell retreat featuring great music under skilled direction and fellowship among bell choirs. Individuals as well as full choirs are invited to attend.
Whether you are an installed teaching elder, commissioned ruling elder, transitional pastor, or other church leader, the season of Lent is a busy one! After we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, come and rest.
Mission at Massanetta is a year-round service program for youth and adults. We have partnered with several nonprofits in the area to create a program that can be catered to the needs of each group. After work, come back to Massanetta for relaxation and recreation in God's beautiful creation.
Massanetta Springs Middle School Conference is a transformational program that welcomes hundreds of middlers and their leaders from all over the country each summer. Participants attend keynotes, recreation, workshops, and worship designed by the Advocates (high school leaders) with them in mind. Encounter Groups provide an opportunity to reflect and learn alongside youth from other places, led by Advocates.
A conference for all ages of worship leaders. Whether you are ordained or a layperson, there are plenty of opportunities to learn, practice, and worship together with quality preachers, teachers, and clinicians.

Common Questions:
Do I need to be Presbyterian to come to a Massanetta Program?
Not at all. While we are most closely related to the Presbyterian Church (USA), we welcome all to our programs.
Are lodging and meals included with my registration?
In most cases, yes. However, if you are a local, or are staying elsewhere, many of our programs include “commuter” options allowing flexibility in what you pay for when you register.
Can you accommodate special dietary needs?
Yes. With enough notice, we can handle most dietary requests (gluten free, diabetic, allergies, vegetarian, vegan, etc.). If you have questions for our dining staff please call us or email info@massanettasprings.org and we will be happy to help you.
Where is Massanetta Springs?
We are less than four miles off I-81 just outside of Harrisonburg. Visit our Contact page for a map.
Where do I park when I arrive?
Our main parking area is right off Massanetta Springs Road. If you have mobility challenges and the long sidewalk to the Historic Hotel is difficult for you, you can pull your vehicle close to the handicap ramp located on the back side of the Hotel.
