Join us to Celebrate 100 Years!
In 2022, Massanetta Springs will celebrate 100 years of Presbyterian Ministry in this special place. We’ve already gathered Staff Alumni for a dinner and had a Spring Workday to get the place ready to greet celebrants in style, but there’s so much more coming.
Each of the summer conferences will celebrate in their own way. So if you’re coming this summer, prepare to party! 100 Years ago, we started as the Massanetta Springs Bible Encampment. So it seemed only fitting to throw our biggest party during our Bible and Church Music Conference. We are encouraging people to join us for the full week, and also issuing a special invitation to join us for July 27th. We’ll be celebrating all day long. Here are some highlights of the schedule.
July 27 schedule
When you arrive, wear your mask into the Historic Hotel to get Covid tested at the front desk. Once you have tested negative, you will receive your nametag and any other materials. Then, you can enjoy all the programming and festivities!
9:00 a.m. - Bible Study with Dr. Christine Roy Yoder
12:30 p.m. - Lunch at the Massanetta Dining Hall - Union Presbyterian Seminary Alumni are invited to a special luncheon hosted by UPSem, featuring a speaker from the seminary.
2:30 p.m. - “Singing with the Global Church” with the Iona Community’s John Bell
5:30 - Dinner in the Massanetta Dining Hall
7:00 - Worship in Hudson Auditorium with the Iona Community’s John Bell preaching and celebrating communion.
Following Worship - Dessert reception on the Hotel Front Lawn.
